Objectives
a. Discuss what Difficult Peripheral Venous Access (DPVA) is and how our current practice limits our progress in this area
b. Identify the factors that impact DPVA and make it hard to categorize
c. Review ways to help preserve peripheral veins and reduce DPVA
d. Demonstrate how NIR is absolutely necessary to combat DPVA
