Description: Provide an evidence based approach to making decisions for a unique vascular access case study and review how being a “Rule Breaker” can be the patient-centric thing to do
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify indications and complications related to vascular access devices in pediatric populations.
2. Present solutions and care practices in pediatric and adult populations.
3. Recognize key signs and complications related to MARSI and other adhesive related issues.
4. Discuss ability to initiate a new process or add to a current process to improve vascular access outcomes for outside the box needs.
