Ultrasound Guided Peripheral IV (USGPIV) Workshop

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Evaluate clinician confidence for pre and post training of UGPIV insertions

Describe key elements of UGPIV insertions including visual needling signs for best needle management

Demonstrate achievement of ultrasound scanning and insertion needle guidance skills needed for UGPIV insertions

Perform deliberate practice in UGPIV simulation with validated procedural steps to achieve the minimum performance score (MPS) of 80%
