    GulfVAN Members--

Who is interested in joining more than 1,400 vascular access professionals at the AVA 2014 Annual Scientific Meeting at the Gaylord National Harbor in Maryland?
GulfVAN is THRILLED to announce that we are able to send 3 people- yes THREE-- on scholarship this year. Each scholarship is worth $475, which pays for the conference itself. Please let me recognize our sponsors: MedComp, ICU Medical, and GulfVAN. This is the 4th year in a row MedComp has stepped up to the plate, and the second year for ICU Medical.

This four day meeting, from September 7 – 10, 2014, will provide you with opportunities to participate in educational sessions, professional development roundtables, hands-on clinical training, new product demonstrations, and lots of networking.

How do you apply? Simply send an email/letter to floridagulfvan@yahoo.com telling us why you want to go and what you hope to gain from the meeting. THE DEADLINE IS JULY 15, 2014. Participants will be expected to share their experience with the group and assist the Education Committee (national) during the poster presentations. National AVA is trying to draw more folks in to see the posters and need help directing traffic (not a big time commitment).

    At AVA 2014, you can...
Collaborate on evidence and current practices with fellow colleagues.
Discuss new ideas and evidence with speakers after educational sessions or participate in Poster Grand Rounds.
Be inspired by the world class AVA speakers, members and leadership.
